Mar. 16th, 2013 06:28 pmI just --
I was taking Arthur through patrol in the wharf district, and I swear we saw Lenore. Only she looked ...
I don't know. She didn't look her herself. She seemed so slow and dreamy and her cheeks were all flushed, and even though I stopped and called her name, it was as if she didn't even see me. And her eyes -- they were glazed like she was dead, and her pupils were just tiny little dots ...
She was smiling, though. I ... that's good, right?
-- it was just ... unsettling. She was like a ghost.
Maybe it wasn't her after all ...

Er, so, I know that you're busy today running patrol outside the city for Prince Finlay, but I was hoping we could if you have time, I'd like to -- uh, actually, how is that going? I have that assignment later this week, I hope it's as simple as it was made out to be ... some of the men in my squad have been asking what to expect ...
[a pause, and then the rest is a hurried scrawl]
and er actually theres some other stuff Id like to talkabout to ifyou hav e time

Sep. 24th, 2012 12:12 amHaha, Annie just keeps winning, doesn't she? It almost seems a waste of time to keep playing, if it's going to go this way for every game ...

Sep. 4th, 2012 02:15 pmDragons, how did I ever get to be twenty-three years old?
I was fifteen when I was sent on that mission to escort Princess Kelita. Sometimes I think about that and I'm just -- how did I ever get that charge? I had just enlisted. -- Er, well, I know how. My father pulled the strings, hoping to jump start my military career, and ... well, I suppose he did.

But first -- did you try talking to Mianne yet?

Jun. 23rd, 2012 10:11 pmIt seems like Ian was given an out of town assignment for this next week ... he's not looking forward to telling Clarissa about it. He says that sometimes she acts like she's still worried he's going to leave her again, and this isn't going to help.
And ... it seems cruel, doesn't it? Sending a newly married man apart from his wife like this? With a baby, too. Whether Eona is his daughter or not, Ian loves her like she is. I can't help but wonder if my father is somehow involved in this. A lot of his old contacts in the military are still a little too eager to listen to what the old man has to say, and ...
It sounds like the sort of thing he'd do, with the way he's been acting lately.
I wish I could do something about this, but it's out of my jurisdiction.
Hah. And I'm still not really sure how to -- Ian confiding in me? Our parents acting this way? It feels like I woke up backwards one morning and can't get it all to go back where it's supposed to be.

I don't know if that's a good thing, or not ... but I suspect we're going to know very soon.

I think Floran is going to be a much, much cleaner place without that evil man preying on vulnerable young women. It doesn't matter what they were, or used to be, or any of it. They're in Hanalan now. It's our job to protect them and shelter them.
